We also offer a wide selection of free weight equipment and access to personal training to help reach your personal goals. Our goal is to encourage our community that fitness is not only temporary, it‘s a lifestyle! Jaime Garcia

Jaime is a sport enthusiast and the founder of Houston Colosseum Academy. Running, biking, swimming, lifting, soccer, boxing, you name it... he enjoys and practices them all!

Jaime's farthest run? 50K!

With 7 marathons, 10 half marathons and 2 half Ironman under his belt, Jaime is continuously striving for new challenges.

Through the gym, he has the wish to offer a wide variety of disciplines to fulfill everyone's need.

You can count on him to help you push yourself and go beyond your limits!

Sofia Garcia

Fierce, strong and dedicated, Sofia will bring out the best out you! No excuses! She lifts weight, she boxes... as a marathoner, she knows what it takes to push the limits, and she will give the exact same energy to you! Sofia will make sure that everyone at the Colosseum reaches its goals. She will adapt her training to any level, so don't be afraid and get into a class with her!

Matthew Jenkins

Matthew is a Houston raised Personal Trainer and Personal Chef specializing in Corrective Strength Training for Muscle Imbalances.

“Coach Matt” has been utilizing 14 years of combined work and experience. His Global Fit certification brings an innovative approach to maximize client’s potential in wellness and athleticism. 

His discipline and communication are transmitted through every session!

Jose Carmona

Coach J. Carmona started training the sport Boxing in the early year of 2012, and is former Golden Glove championship finalist in the year of 2014. He also has a widespread experience with Muay Thai, and MMA as a competitor. Coach Carmona, will bring all his fire and knowledge to every class, that he will make sure you feel as a competitor yourself!

Certified NPTI Master Trainer, his passion is to help people achieve their fitness goals in the most realistic way possible. Jose has been successfully guiding people to a better lifestyle for 9 years. He believes with knowledge and determination, we can make great things happen.

Jose understands everyone's need and goals are different,for this reason, he personally designs a workout plan that fits individuals.

Carla Pereira

Born and raised in Brazil (Rio de Janeiro), Coach Carla has always been an Athletic person from age of 4-14 being part of the ballet academy, and from ages 15-19 in volleyball.

She got to Houston in 2012 worked at 24 hours fitness and started her passion for weight training. Coach Carla is also a mother, after having her daughter she went through a really hard time with postpartum depression. Now she understands that prioritizing her mental and physical health is important. Through her difficulties she began to work out even harder and discovered her love for motivating others in 2016 when she became an instructor.

Her ultimate goal is to empower women and men to live a healthy and active lifestyle.

Demarcus Brown

In memory of Demarcus

5'6, 140 lbs, 14 years of martial arts experience. Demarcus was a combat athlete, fitness coach and personal trainer. Fights and trains out of paradigm training center. Demarcus was a practitioner and amateur boxing and a muay thai fighter.

Demarcus was providing nothing but a skillful, high, intense and full of energy training!
